How to babkup your blog. Backing-up your blog

Hi,

Backing up your blog is the most common question may arise in your mind. I want to share it with all my blogger friends.


All you need is an Internet browser which supports *.MTH,*.MHTML format.

**MHT/.MHTML format: short for MIME HTML, is a web page archive format used to bind resources which are typically represented by external links (such as images, Flash animations, Java applets, audio files) together with HTML code into a single file.
example: IE 7&8, Opera 9.5 and many others.
Besides this, a good internet connection and a BLOG ofcourse lol..



Simply Open your internet browser and type this code:
http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/search?max-results=NUMBEROFPOSTS

ReplaceYOURBLOGNAME to your blog/subdomain name. OR
Replace YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot your BLOG name (if its other thn blogger' blog).

Replace NUMBEROFPOSTS to the number of your Blog Posts. Can be easily obtained from your dashboard.
NOW
Look at the MENUBAR of your browser, and goto: File -> Save As

In the next window you get, just replace the filename extension to MTH & the Save As Type to All Files OR Mht,Mhtml

Example if your filename extension is: FILEMANE.html just replace it to FILENAME.mht
Then, chose a location, and Save the file.

The file may take a long time to save (depends upon the number of posts).

After everything is done,
YOUR BLOG IS BACKUPED IN A SINGLE FILE ON YOUR LOCAL HDD.

I heard about some softwares also but i am afraid of trojans as well. And all softwares do the exactly same thing OR may ask your Blogger Login ID and Password. This way you can do the same backup thing mannually without risk.
